Course Description:

This teaching explores how we become people who know how to wrestle with truth rather than merely recite it. We will examine the core of Christian belief versus traditions of men, learning how to discern what must be protected and what may be released. Together, we will consider why sound doctrine matters, how to pursue it with wisdom, and where healthy boundaries exist between what we entertain and what we dismiss. As we seek greater fullness in Christ, we will also address what defines heresy and how to avoid it while remaining humble, teachable, and open to growth.

In this teaching, we will explore:

  • How to mature from reciting beliefs to wrestling with truth.

  • What is core to Christian belief versus the traditions of men.

  • How to discern what must be protected and what may need to be released.

  • The necessary partnership between belief and experience.

  • Why sound doctrine matters and how to pursue it with wisdom.

  • What heresy is, how to avoid it, and how to remain open to learning and growth without compromise.
